Career Card / Career Credits
Earn 2 Credits with the Career Card
By participating in programs organized by the Career Office of the University of Pécs, you can collect Career Credits, which can be converted into 2 credits through the campus credit course "Career planning and developing competencies."
How does it work?
1. Choose the programs listed below that interest you the most.
2. At the end of the semester, we will calculate the Career Credits you have earned and register the course in the Neptun educational system through a retroactive course registration. 200 Career Credits = 2 credits. Partial credits cannot be awarded.
3. To complete the course, you must also submit a Report using the template available on the Career Office website.
Completing the report earns you an additional 50 Career Credits per semester.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How many semesters do I have to collect the required 200 Career Credits?
There is no time limit for collecting Career Credits. You may accumulate them over several semesters. Once you submit your Report, your credits will be recorded in the Neptun system during that semester (before the end of the study period) through retroactive course registration.
If I participate in the same program more than once, do I receive Career Credits each time?
No. You can earn Career Credits only once for each type of program. For example, you may attend Graphology Consultation several times, but you will receive the 25 Career Credits only once.
If I collect 400 Career Credits, can I still earn only 2 academic credits?
No. If you collect another 200 Career Credits by participating in different eligible programs, you may earn another 2 academic credits, provided that you also submit the required Report for that recognition.
Will I receive the additional 50 Career Credits every time I submit a Report?
No. Only one combined Report per semester is accepted for completing the "Career planning and developing competencies" course. The additional 50 Career Credits for the report are awarded only after you have already completed at least 150 Career Credits. Only one report per semester will be counted.
